Dine and relax in the comfort of this magnificent room with its large welcoming hearth and sweeping views over the castle grounds.
The restaurant’s seasonal menus are mainly inspired by locally available Yorkshire produce including fruit, vegetables and herbs grown in its four-acre walled kitchen garden. The 20,000 acre Swinton Estate stretches from Wensleydale’s River Ure to the high dale moors — which also provide Samuel's restaurant with a wide variety of naturally sourced rabbit, game birds, smoked trout, and venison.
We recommend that guests reserve tables well in advance and especially over preview and auction days.
Lunch: 12:30 pm–2:00 pm
Please note: Weekday lunch bookings are available for parties of eight or more, by prior arrangement.
Dinner: 7:00 pm–9:30 pm
Please note: Children under the age of eight are not permitted to dine in Samuel’s in the evening.
